A stunning piece of musical theatre which tells the real story of people who come to Barrow as refugees.
We all have ideas in our heads about who the migrants in Barrow are, how they got here and why they came.
For the past 18 months award-winning writer Kevin Fegan has been talking and listening to people who have come to Barrow as refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, those who work with them and members of the community.
Sapeurs is a piece of musical theatre which tells those stories and also gives voice to the views of those who find refugee presence in our town challenging.
Sapeurs is an important story for Barrow and community cohesion in a challenging and divided world.
This play is part of The Theatre Factory's year-long IF! Inclusion Festival.
