This autumn, Abbot Hall presents Boat Works, a solo exhibition by Turner Prize-winner Simon Starling. Bringing together his major boat-themed projects, the show explores the vessel as a symbol of migration, transformation, and change.
Highlights include Island for Weeds, Houseboat for Ho, and a new collaboration with Lakeland Arts' conservation team, with plans and sketches also on display at Windermere Jetty Museum.
Internationally acclaimed, Starling invites visitors to see the world anew through journeys of environmental, cultural, and historical discovery.
Entry included with gallery admission.
