There's a part for everyone in…The Mystery of the Pirate Lagoon. Suitable for ages 9 to 90! Special prize for the best dressed pirate! Tickets £15 and a special price of £2 for accompanying children.
Cumbrian theatre company Ragged Edge are glad to be back at Threlkeld Village Hall after the enormous success they had with their award-winning "The Chef Show" which was a sell-out at Threlkeld and won the Cumbria Life Culture Award for Live Performance of the Year 2019 and NRTF Rural Touring Award for Best Stage Performance 2018. In 2022 they toured with another success - "The Mystery of the Blue Moon Saloon", and you won't be surprised to hear this latest comedy drama is from the same stable.
Devised and performed by Stefan Escreet, Peter MacQueen and Claire Webzell, gives the audience chance to make sound effects and join in with the fun of this crazy adventure on the Pirate Ship 'Prospero' to find out the mystery of the Pirate Lagoon. Who knew a parrot could be played by a pair of rubber gloves and a gun by a sheet of paper?!
Audience Responses:"I loved it. Funny, joyous, daft!"; "We really enjoyed feeling part of the production and learning about radio production." ; "The cast make you feel so comfortable and at ease." ; "Soooo funny!"
