Imagine waking up with Lake Windermere as the backdrop and nature as the soundtrack? Our pop-up canvas village is made up of sturdy pre-pitched bell tents that take the hassle out of pitching up, leaving you free to explore the local area or try out some of the activities available on site. How idyllic does this sound? Located on the western side of Lake Windermere, the dog-friendly bell tents are spaced out among peaceful green fields.
The bell tents sleep up to 5 guests, come with fitted carpets and waterproof groundsheets but they are unfurnished, so you'll need to bring your own bedding plus camping essentials.
Activities on the estate include shooting, watersports, off-road driving, boat tours and bushcraft classes. If and when you venture beyond the site limits, you'll be well-placed to visit Hill Top, Michelin-starred restaurants, lakeshore trails and pretty towns and villages like Hawkshead and Ambleside.
