With its stunning views and comfortable accommodation, Lands End Cottage is ideal for a relaxing break.
Lands End Cottage is a luxury two bedroomed cottage, with 2 bathrooms and a private garden, in a very peaceful location.
On the ground floor is a spacious double room, with plenty of wardrobe space and en-suite shower room. Next to this is the twin room, again with plenty of space to move and a bathroom with a full-sized bath. There is a travel cot available if you need it.
Upstairs there is a fully-fitted kitchen including fridge, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and freezer. It has crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is a full-sized table with enough room for everyone to sit and views to the garden from the window.
The living room has TV and plenty of seating, with the feature windows giving views up the valley to the fells in the heart of the lake district.
Outside there is also plenty of space. The cottage has its own garden with views across the valley and there is also a wildflower meadow with a huge variety of flora and fauna. In the spring the swallows and swifts come to stay and, if you sit quietly, you may see our local deer coming to nibble on the bushes.
There is parking for 2 cars (and more if you let us know in advance). We can provide secure storage for bikes, there is a washer-dryer to cope with wet kit. We have Wi-Fi, but it’s not a very fast service, so don't expect to stream games, etc.
We are dog friendly - they are allowed throughout the cottage, in the enclosed garden and wildflower meadow. Please be aware that we do have very free range hens who wander throughout the grounds, and sheep in neighbouring fields, so dogs would need to be able to cope with these. You can walk from the door around the beautiful Rusland Valley with its patchwork of small fields and wooded hills, or into Grizedale Forest.
