A stunning collection of nine cottages in an undiscovered part of North Lakeland, each with their own distinctive ‘Contemporary Cumbrian’ style, offering a unique range of holiday extras.

Twice winner of Cumbria Tourism’s 'Self Catering Holiday of the Year', Visit Britain Gold Award held for all cottages and holder of the Green Tourism Gold Award.

Romantic cottages for couples with four posters or canopied beds, log burning stoves and spa baths or sauna suites. Also a special Lake District honeymoon package including spa treatment, champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers.

Spacious cottages for families or couples with log burning stoves, balconies with private outside hot tubs, and open plan living areas with oak beamed roofs. Plus a wide range of family orientated extras - from backpacks and bikes to toy boxes and playpens.

Larger cottages for groups, designed especially for two or three families holidaying together, with large living spaces and dining areas and private spa facilities. Quality local catering service and local beers available for any size of group celebration.

Set around a courtyard in five acres of landscaped grounds, with an outdoor play area and games room on site. Also free access to the superb North Lakes Spa leisure facility in Penrith.

Fishing and pony trekking nearby. Leisure facilities are at North Lakes Spa in Penrith 15 minutes away, facilities include swimming and gym.

Great Calva - Sleeps 12 + 2 + 2 cots, Dog-friendly
Great Calva Cottage is ideal for larger groups wishing to holiday together in a rural location. With stunning 30 mile views, Great Calva Cottage has been recently designed and built to a traditional Lake District style with three family groups in mind. This magnificent cottage has been furnished and equipped to the ultimate 5 star standard comprising three bedroom suites each with private hallway, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom.

Laing Barn - Sleeps 8 + 2 + 2 cots, Dog-friendly
The Laing Barn comprises Raven Howe and Round Knott cottages.
Entrances to the two cottages are adjacent, onto the shared patio in the courtyard. There are no internal joining doors, however access between is also possible via the shared first floor balcony.

Round Knott has a double and two single bedroom. Raven Howe has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a room with adult bunk beds.
Both have spacious first floor open plan living areas with exposed beams, natural stonework and log burning stoves.

Brae Fell - Sleeps 8 + cot, Dog-friendly
Brae Fell Cottage is an imaginative conversion of a large ancient Lake District barn which simply oozes character.
The ground floor has a spacious dining room with a fully equipped, newly fitted kitchen alongside.The open tread stairs lead directly to a stunning living room with atmospheric old beams, exposed stonework and three large soft leather sofas. Adjacent to the living room is a second smaller sitting area ideal for reading and board games.

The cottage has a wide smart TV, a ‘Bluetooth’ music player with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi. There are two self contained bedroom suites, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with a private hallway leading to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom.

Miller Moss - Sleeps 4 + cot, Dog-friendly
Miller Moss Cottage is an appealing and spacious family cottage with views over both Warnell Fell and the Eden Valley. There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a recently fitted contemporary bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs is a magnificent vaulted roofed open plan living area with leather sofas and a log burning stove, a dining area with stunning furniture from ‘Out of the Woods’, and a spacious, newly fitted, well-equipped kitchen. The cottage has a smart TV, a ‘Bluetooth’ music player with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi.

Cloven Stone - Sleeps 4 + cot, Pet-free
Built in 2000, Cloven Stone Cottage is specially designed for two couples holidaying together or families with older children.
On the ground floor of this impressive five star Lake District cottage are two double bedrooms, each with a full ensuite bathroom. One of these bedrooms can also be configured as a twin bedroom. Upstairs is a spacious living area with soft leather furniture, a log burning stove and magnificent 30 mile views across the Eden Valley. Open plan to the living area is a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
The cottage has a smart TV, a ‘Bluetooth’ music player with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi.

Fisher Gill - Sleeps 2 + 1 (or cot), Pet-free
Fisher Gill is a cottage apartment with a character all of its own, having been created from the ground floor of the original farmworker’s cottage.
Step through the porch and you enter a well presented living area with a log burning stove, and lovely big soft leather settees. Just beyond the dining area is a separate pine fitted kitchen. The cottage has a smart TV, a ‘Bluetooth’ music player with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi. The bedroom suite comprises a large dressing room. The dressing room leads through an open archway into the bedroom. An extra bed can go in the dressing room. A stunning contemporary bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom, and features a corner spa bath.

Chapel Beck - Sleeps 2, Pet-free
Chapel Beck is our Lake District chill-out cottage with views over Warnell Fell. Comprising an open plan living area, a dining area and a well equipped pine kitchen as well as a spacious sitting room with a log burning stove and contemporary Cumbrian furniture from ‘Out of the Woods’

The cottage has a smart TV, a ‘Bluetooth’ music player with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi.
The first bedroom features a super kingsize bed and ensuite. The second bedroom is a twin. Adjacent is a separate recently fitted bathroom to our latest standard, with a bath and over-bath shower.

Out of a back door in the second bedroom is a new beautiful pine stair case leading down to a garden with ratan furniture and hot tub.

Mickle Rigg - Sleeps 2, Dog-friendly
Mickle Rigg Cottage is a former single storey barn which has been superbly converted into a cosy cottage for two, featuring the original oak beams and a log burning stove. The open plan, vaulted roofed living and dining area has pleasant views across the paddock. A compact kitchen sits in one corner. The cottage has a smart TV, a ‘Bluetooth’ music player with CD and DAB, and access to free high speed wifi.
Mickle Rigg now has a large recently fitted bathroom featuring a spa bath and a new hot tub outside the main door.
