Set at the foot of the fells within two acres of riverside gardens on the edge of picturesque Grasmere village, the four AA Silver Star Rothay Garden by Harbour Hotels is a boutique countryside hideaway with an array of outdoor activities to enjoy right on its doorstep. Many of the rooms and suites boast lakeland views and balconies overlooking the banks of the River Rothay.

Prime to unwind, our oh-so comfy rooms offer much-needed relaxation in between exploring the Lakes. Featuring luxury, eco-friendly Bramley toiletries, Harbour’s supremely comfortable beds with deep Sleepeezee mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets, and fluffy bathrobes and slippers, taking it easy uncovers a whole new meaning.

What’s more relaxing than outstanding floor-to-ceiling views of our beautiful riverside surroundings? When it’s paired with our hydrotherapy pool with sunken loungers, herbal pine sauna, steam room, heated infra-red loungers and monsoon showers.
