Our two luxury glamping pods in Grasmere offer one of the Lake District's most unique glamping experiences, combining hotel comforts with camping freedom. Minimum 2 night stay, any day arrival.

Whether you’re here for a romantic escape or need a cosy base after a long day on the fells, these pods deliver the perfect mix of adventure and luxury. Perched high on Broadrayne Farm, they enjoy a sunny, elevated position with breathtaking views of Helm Crag, surrounded by some of Britain’s finest scenery. Step outside, and the adventure begins - walking routes start straight from your door, so there’s no need to even move the car.

In March 2025, we replaced both of our Lake District pods with brand-new, upgraded versions, designed for even more comfort and style. Fully insulated and heated, they’re made for year-round stays. Inside, the warm wood-clad lounge features a log-burning stove, a comfy sofa, a dining table for two, and a Smart LED TV - perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. Behind the lounge, a well-equipped kitchenette awaits, complete with an oven, induction hob, small fridge, kettle, toaster, and all the crockery and utensils you need. Prefer to skip the cooking? Our award-winning bistro is right here on-site, serving up breakfast, dinner, and even afternoon tea. Dine in or have your meal delivered straight to your pod - because nothing says luxury like having dinner arrive at your door.

At the back, the snug bedroom nook offers a kingsize bed dressed in crisp white linen, with handy under-bed storage to keep things tidy. The ensuite bathroom comes with a rain head, hot shower (heated by our eco-friendly biomass boiler), a toilet, sink, and a heated towel rain - perfect for warming up after a chilly day in the fells. Fluffy towels and luxurious Pure Lakes toiletries are included for that extra touch of comfort.

Even in the heart of the countryside, modern conveniences aren’t forgotten. The pods are fully equipped with Wi-Fi, 13-amp and USB sockets, and a Bluetooth radio to set the mood. Outside, a now-covered private seating area overlooks the stunning Helm Crag and Steel Fell - an ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset and the new terrace will now protect you from the ever-changing Lake District weather. And don’t be surprised if a curious Herdwick sheep or cheeky chicken wanders past to check in on your stay.

For those who love the little extras, we’ve got plenty. Fresh farm eggs, a bottle of Champagne, or logs and kindling for the wood burner can all be ready for your arrival. Each pod is designed for two adults, with the option of accommodating one child (aged 6+) on the sofa bed. We cannot accommodate children under 6 or a baby in the pods.
