Famous 16thC Inn situated amid spectacular scenery near Loweswater and Crummock Water. Atmospheric beamed rooms, log fires and accommodation including 4-poster and family suite.

Busy bar area and dining room serving excellent home-cooked food.

Recently voted CAMRA pub of the year for West Cumbria.
