You are here: Home > Food and Drink > The Restaurant at Mary Mount Hotel
A visit to Mary Mount isn’t complete without experiencing its warm and welcoming restaurant — where honest flavours, generous portions, and heartfelt hospitality come together. The menu celebrates quality and comfort, offering timeless dishes prepared with care, from slow-cooked classics to beautifully plated seasonal mains. Every plate is crafted to satisfy — no fuss, just good food, done well.
Our chefs believe in flavour first: think tender roasts, rich gravies, flaky fish, and desserts that feel like home. Daily specials keep things fresh, while familiar favourites ensure there’s something for everyone — from walkers fresh off the fells to families settling in for an evening meal. The Sunday roast has become something of a local ritual, bringing together crisp roasties, golden Yorkshires, and perfectly seasoned meats that never disappoint.
Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined — a place to unwind over a glass of wine or local ale, surrounded by friendly faces and the gentle buzz of conversation. Whether you’re joining us for lunch after a lakeside stroll or dinner that stretches into the evening, you’ll find a space that feels both comforting and memorable.
With attentive service, hearty dishes, and a team who truly care about every guest’s experience, dining at Mary Mount is less about fine dining and more about real dining — where flavour, warmth, and generosity are at the heart of every meal.
