Set in the stunning Lakeland landscape, The Heaning Estate offers a collection of ten charming properties for holiday lets and The Hub for conferences and events. Nestled within five acres of beautiful grounds, The Estate provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Located just minutes from the village of Windermere, the gateway to the Lake District, it’s the perfect place for corporate functions, retreats or celebrations. 

The Hub – Your Ideal Event Space

Our versatile meeting and event space, The Hub, is available for corporate meetings, social gatherings, or teaching events. Designed with flexibility in mind, The Hub is equipped with all the technology you need to make your event a success. Enjoy ultra-fast broadband, a commercial kitchen, and two bathrooms, as well as a breakout area with a tea kitchen.

Key features of The Hub include:

- Private entrance for added privacy and convenience
- Ample parking for over 30 cars, including EV chargers
- Advanced AV facilities including a Smart TV with screen sharing, video conferencing equipment, surround sound system, and high-speed Wi-Fi
- Private toilet facilities and a shower room for your comfort
- Whiteboards and flip charts available upon request
- Catering services available upon request

Seating options:

- Theatre style: Seats up to 50 people
- Boardroom style: Seats up to 20 people
- Horseshoe style: Seats up to 18 people

Accommodation Options

The Heaning Estate offers a range of properties to suit any group size or occasion, with a total of 24 bedrooms across the following:

The Big House: 7 Bedrooms, sleeps 14
The Small House: 3 Bedrooms, sleeps 6
Heaning Cottages: 1 Bedroom each, sleeps 2 per cottage
3 Heaning Barn Cottages: 3 Bedrooms each, sleeps 6 per cottage

Whether you're planning a family getaway, a group retreat, or a peaceful break with friends, you can choose from any combination of these properties. The entire estate can accommodate up to 48 guests (2 per room).

Catering & Facilities

We offer catering upon request through Lakeland Retreats. If you're hosting a special event, we provide industrial kitchen facilities for private chefs, as well as a small kitchenette area for breaks.
