If you are driving to the area then it's good to know where the best places to park are situated, particularly in the busier areas and if your vehicle is electric, where you can charge it. To help, we have included an interactive map of electric vehicle charging points, both public locations, such as car parks and those in private locations such as hotels.
When it comes to parking, scroll further down to find links to each of the district council parking pages, displaying full details of the car parking in each area. Then, keep scrolling down to find a list of car parks around the Lake District and Cumbria to help you plan your journey.
Use the map below to find electric vehicle charging points around the county. It's set to the centre of the county, but you can zoom in and out using the + and - symbols and you can search for specific locations using the search bar.
