Boasting three high ropes activities above the forest floor, days out at Go Ape Grizedale are about having fun, challenging yourself to try something new and creating unforgettable memories.

Zip Trekking Adventure

The UK’s longest network of zip wires and a haven for adventure lovers. Soak in the views and experience the thrill of soaring down a series of tandem zip wires at speeds of up to 45mph. A truly unmissable experience, Zip Trekking Adventure at Grizedale Forest is sure to be the best part of your day out in the Lake District.

Treetop Adventure Plus

A high ropes experience that will introduce you to a more challenging series of obstacles, higher platforms and longer zips. You’ll absorb all the fun of Treetop Adventure and then some. An action-packed hour designed for families with older children in mind. This one hits the feel-good factor every time.

  • Maximum weight - 20.5 stones (130kg)


Treetop Challenge

Go Ape Treetop Challenge is an exhilarating self-guided 2-3-hour experience through the forest canopy. After a detailed safety briefing from one of our experienced instructors, you’ll be tackling canopy-high crossings, leaping off free-fall Tarzan swings and riding high-speed ziplines. Our rope ladders are your gateway to a hidden world. Grown-up fun in the great outdoors. For those over 1.4 metres tall.
