You are here: Home > Things to Do > Operation Blast Hole - Exhilarating Abseiling and Survival One Day Experience with Green Man Survival
Abseil into a huge disused quarry down slate faces that were blasted with explosives to give sheer rock faces with zero hand holds, go deep underground through a flooded cavern towards the light of day and rescue, build your emergency shelter, light your fire and survive against all odds.
Armed with our new survival knowledge, we will have the opportunity to round off our day with an exploration of the spectacular Cathedral Cave, accessing it via one of the longest tunnels where we can discover hidden caverns in the pitch black. This will be a day to remember - never surrender!
Join us for our most exhilarating experience to date, Operation Blast Hole is all about stepping outside your comfort zone and taking the plunge, quite literally!
You will be guided by our expert instructor in the below areas -
* Learn how to abseil
* Tie knots and rig your ropes
* Fire lighting with only sparks and a knife
* Emergency shelter building
* Tree & plant identification
* Water purification
* Navigation
* Cave exploration
Come prepared to get wet, muddy, tested and exhilarated!
