About

We are an inclusive company to check our accessibility listing, click here

Sail Winderemere with us, feel the wind ruffle your hair, and then the surge of the boat as the sails begin their work of converting breeze to smiles.

This experience is aboard Seapig a super stable day yacht - stable is not the same as slow this is a lively day with the confidence of knowing you'll finish the day upright. We have three or four sails to manage so there is plenty to do aboard.

We set sail from National Trust Fell Foot at the south end of the lake (changing place, D parking and level access cafe), initially by motor until we're in clear water and then it's time to hoist. This is all hands-on and Chris is excellent at making sure you do all the work.

For lunch, we anchor in a bay for a lovely picnic.

Seapig has been chosen to be super-inclusive she is level with the dock to make transfers or step-downs easy and can be sailed from a single position. We have Supportive seating and support straps to aid balance. Grip aids, tactile markers and (by arrangement) a BSL translator are all available. Seapig is quiet, there is a calm retreat space in the cabin and the engine is electric (very quiet)
