Accessible Canoeing in the Lake District - Open to everyone - A Full Day with lunch

We are inclusive - Check out our Accessibility listing

Enjoy either a tranquil paddle along the stunning tree-lined river with a steam train passing by on the shoreline and the current tugging gently from below towards the sea, or on the open waters of Windermere, exposed to the wind and waves, with vast vistas of the Lake District mountains filling your view.

Eat our fantastic, locally baked lunches on the shores of Windermere.
Join us for a fantastic day adventuring on the lake.

Our days are always whole days:
Full days are fantastic value for money.
You get a proper day out, and a proper go.
If you have any additional needs, we have time to facilitate any adaptions that will make your day more comfortable.
Canoeing deserves a whole day when you have a lake the size of Winderemere.

What's included:
One or two instructors
Any adaptions required for your needs
A fantastic lunch
A great day out on the lakes
Showers, changing and lockers

How much?
A days Canoeing costs

£310 for a private booking of upto 4 people including a picnic lunch (10am - 3pm)
£360 for a private booking of up to 4 people: Canoe and Bushcraft 3-course lunch (10am - 4pm)

The fee includes all equipment, hot showers, locker use, a great lunch, hot drinks and instruction.

This is because we don't have a permanent base at the venue, so you won’t find us for an ad-hoc session!

Road Directions

We are based on Windermere at Fell Foot Park, 10/15 minutes drive from Windermere and 5 minutes from Newby Bridge. Sessions need to be booked in advance  as we're only there when we have clients booked in for watersports!

Public Transport Directions

Possible by public transport: we can collect you from near the bus stop at Newby Bridge by powerboat and bring you to the park. 

The Kendal Barrow bus to Newby Bridge is normally accessible, the powerboat can collect all people that use a wheelchair up to 900mm wide. 

If you are based at a suitable waterfront site we may be able to come to you (on Windermere)
