Vulcan Park is a 14 acre town centre park situated in the centre of Workington.The park is used by the local community for relaxation and recreation as well as a variety of events and activities throughout the year. and is a ten minute walk from the centre of town.
Facilities include:

- Adults outdoor fitness equipment
- Playing field including goal posts
- Pannacourt
- Bowling green with bower
- Network of paths / benches
- Lighting
- Wildflower meadow areas
- Cenotaph
- Walking for health
- Lawns for picnics
