Tucked away in the beautiful Gilpin Valley, the Wild Boar oozes character and charm. The friendly team at our 5* Inn are well equipped to make your Lake District wedding the greatest day of your lives.
Flavoursome food from our Grill & Smokehouse, 34 individually designed rooms and suites, home-brewed beer and a library of single malt whisky, outdoor activities and stunning ancient woodland all make for extensive choices when it comes to planning your perfect wedding.
A cosy, rustic setting, The Wild Boar Grill & Smokehouse Restaurant is known for great food and a cosy atmosphere. We can comfortably accommodate between 70 - 90 wedding guests for your wedding breakfast, and between 70 - 130 guests for your evening buffet. For small, intimate weddings for up to 22 guests, the Undermillbeck room is a perfect choice.
Here at The Wild Boar, traditional meets cosy, quirky and just a little mischievous, where you can enjoy a special meet & greet, go on a Lake District Falconry Hawk Walk with your wedding photographer, or run wild and have fun with your guests enjoying some Wild Experiences like Clay Pigeon Shooting or Axe Throwing.
