Join Keeper of Collections Niall Hodson on a special guided tour of Abbot Hall Art Gallery, created as part of our Kendal Mountain Festival 2026 offer.

This 30-minute walk around tour will introduce visitors to some of the highlights of Abbot Hall's renowned historic and contemporary art collection, sharing the stories behind selected artworks and the artists who made them. 

Highlights include works by George Romney, Barbara Hepworth, Stanley Spencer, Lucian Freud, and more!
