Looking for a fun outdoor activity this Easter with your family? Take on Egg-venture, a 'cracking' addition to Go Ape Grizedale's Treetop Adventure Plus. Combining high ropes crossings, zip wires and a seasonal trail, this special event adds an extra twist to the Treetop Adventure Plus experience.
As you make your way through the trees, keep an eye out for hidden letters along the trail. Work together to collect them all and crack the Egg-venture puzzle to earn a prize at the end.
It's a great way to get outdoors during the school holidays, with plenty of climbing, balancing and zip-lining to keep the whole family entertained.
The Easter Egg-venture runs for a limited time between 28 March and 12 April and is available as an optional add-on to Treetop Adventure Plus experience.
Book in advance to secure your spot during the Easter break.

Go Ape Grizedale, HawksheadBased in the heart of the Lake District adventure awaits. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker looking…
From the south: Travel via the A590 and Newby Bridge. Follow signs to Hawkshead, past the Swan Hotel at Newby Bridge and through Lakeside, up the west side of Windermere. As you come to Hawkshead (approximately 8 miles, 20 minutes, from the A590 turn) take the small left turn signed to Grizedale next to two white cottages. If you go past a repair garage and a primary school, you have missed the turn. Continue for three miles up over the hill and down the other side and park in Kennels car park on the right, or Grizedale Main Car Park on the left another half mile further on.
From the north: Get to Ambleside and follow the signs to Hawkshead and then to Grizedale, taking the small right hand turn 200yrds past the school. Continue for three miles up over the hill and down the other side and park in Kennels car park.
We don't recommend using the ferry across Windermere to get to your session as you might miss your session slot (it's a great option for the journey back though).
This beautiful, out-the-way spot is a little harder to get to by public transport than some of our other locations. It's a 25-minute drive from Ambleside which can be reached by bus, or a 35-minute drive from Windermere which can be reached by train.
