12.30-2pm | Open to Families – Children aged 5+ with a responsible adult
Get ready to roll, press, peel and be amazed! Our Explore, Play, Print! Workshop is a hands-on, creative session with an emphasis on exploration and play.
Gelli plate printing is a playful and accessible printmaking technique that uses soft gel plates, vibrant paints, textures, and everyday objects to create one-of-a-kind layered prints. No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
What will the workshop cover and how will it be taught?
During the workshop, you will:
Discover how gelli plate printing works
Experiment with colour mixing and layering
Use stencils, natural materials, and found textures
Create a collection of unique prints to take home
This is all about exploration, creativity, and having fun side-by-side. Whether you're bold and expressive or love careful patterns and details, everyone can create something they're proud of.
It's a relaxed, welcoming space where families can connect, create, and enjoy the magic of printmaking together.
