Learn the art of Contemporary Gilding, how it has changed over time and how you can use it in your home to give your possessions the Midas touch.

During the workshop, you will learn how to gild a tealight,a Victorian walnut with Dutch Gold Lead and add your unique flair to a Christmas ornament/ decoration.

They're the ideal pre-Christmas treat for you and your friends!

Amelia has a Master's degree in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage from the University of Lincoln. She is a gilt frame, objects, and decorative surfaces conservator and restorer and has worked in the Fine Arts sector for over 4 years gaining extensive experience in restoring and conserving antiques. During this time, she worked with Kintsugi and developed the technique for beginners to enjoy this creative art.
