There is an exciting brand-new event to add to your itinerary. From Friday 9th October to Sunday 11th October 2026, the inaugural J36 Art Fair makes its debut, offering visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Cumbria's vibrant creative culture.
Organised by the well-known regional art collective Green Door Artists, this lively three-day event brings together over 60 independent artists, local galleries, and makers under one roof. Whether you are a visitor or a local resident the art fair is the perfect place to experience the authentic cultural side of the region.

Located right next to Junction 36 of the M6, the event is incredibly easy to find and is AA signposted from all directions. The venue offers free parking, a pop up café for a relaxed coffee or sandwich, and step-free accessibility.
