Award-winning saxophonist Harben Kay and acclaimed pianist and organist Peter Johnstone reunite for an evening of dynamic, conversational jazz. The pair first met as young musicians in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland, and have since shared the stage in Harben's quartet and with the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra. Formed as a duo in 2017, their partnership showcases the deep musical rapport built over years of collaboration — blending soulful lyricism, harmonic invention and spontaneous interplay. Expect original compositions and fresh takes on modern jazz, performed with sensitivity, wit and fearless creativity.
