Merewood Country House Hotel (LA23 1LH) is located on the A591 between Windermere and Ambleside, directly opposite the Brockhole National Park Visitor Centre.
From the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 36 and follow the A591 north for approximately 15 miles, passing through Kendal and Windermere. The hotel entrance will be on your right, right, after Brockhole.
From the North: Head south on the A591 from Ambleside for about 1.5 miles. The hotel will be on your left, directly opposite Brockhole.
Bus: The Stagecoach 555 and 599 buses run directly past the hotel. Disembark at the Brockhole Visitor Centre stop and the hotel driveway is just across the road.
Train & Taxi: The nearest station is Windermere (2.5 miles away). A short taxi ride will get you to the hotel.
