Venture deep beneath the Lake District fells for an eerie, lantern-lit storytelling experience like no other.
For one week only this October, Honister Slate Mine invites you underground to hear spine-tingling tales inspired by real lives, loss and legends that linger in the dark. Guided by your storyteller’s lantern, you’ll walk through pitch-black tunnels once carved by hand, uncovering chilling accounts of those who never made it home, the mysterious “Lost Level” and the haunting story of the Grey Lady of Fleetwith Pike.
Spaces are limited so book early. Pre-booking is essential. Don’t miss your chance to experience Honister’s haunted past this Halloween.
