CancerCare will return to Abbot Hall Park on Saturday 22nd August to host our doggy-themed day out for the whole family, with dog, puppy or pack invited, too!
Running from 12noon, Woof & Wag promises to be an action-packed afternoon with a host of activities, including dog-themed games and more.
The featured event will be the dog show at 1.30pm. There are categories for pooches of all shapes, sizes and breeds.

Prettiest female
Most handsome male
Best youngster (under 12 months)
Best golden oldie (over 10 years)
Best rescue
Dog the judge would most like to take home
Most terrific trick
Waggiest tail
Dog most like their owner
Best biscuit catcher
Smiliest face
Best bad hair day
The event is generously sponsored by Taylor Made Dog Centre, a Kendal-based doggy day care with a difference! Taylor Made offers the highest quality care for dogs and they have won multiple business awards for their exceptional service. Their base boasts bespoke facilities including specialist exercise areas and outdoor play spaces with interactive equipment. One of their unique offerings is being able to collect and drop off dogs from their owner's home or workplace - you can be safe in the knowledge your dog is in the best hands.
Entry is free with dog show classes priced at £2.50 entry per dog.
The café and facilities at the adjacent Abbot Hall art gallery will be available to use on the day.
