Join Ashley, owner and floral designer at The Floralista's, for a luxurious and immersive festive wreath-making workshop set beneath the Langdale Pikes amidst acres of beautiful woodland.
Over three relaxing hours, you'll create your own abundant Christmas wreath while learning the professional techniques and mechanics that transform a wreath into a true piece of living art. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning for another year, Ashley will guide you step-by-step, helping you embrace your own unique style while ensuring a polished, professional finish.
Using a generous selection of scented, sustainably grown British foliage, berries and festive botanicals sourced from Ashley's organic Cumbrian growers, you'll design a fresh, wild and whimsical wreath on a handmade willow base crafted from Cumbria-grown willow. Finished with seasonal dried elements and ribbons, your creation will be perfect for welcoming guests throughout the festive season, gifting to someone special, or even adapting into a beautiful table centrepiece.
Designed with sustainability at its heart, every wreath is 100% compostable, with no plastics, chemicals or unnecessary air miles. Better still, the willow base can be reused for years to come, allowing you to revisit your new-found skills and create seasonal designs throughout the year.
This is a truly special opportunity to step away from the rush of Christmas and spend time immersed in nature, creativity and seasonal scent. With hands-on teaching throughout, you'll leave not only with a stunning wreath but with the confidence and inspiration to create again in the future.
All materials and tools are provided. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended, as you'll be standing and moving throughout this fully immersive sensory experience.
Workshop includes:
All materials, tools and equipment provided
A glass of warm mulled wine
A festive mince pie
Participants must be aged 16+ (12-16 year olds may attend when accompanied by an adult)
Treat yourself, or a loved one, to an indulgent festive experience surrounded by local bounty, creativity and Christmas magic.
