About
Lake District self-catering holidays rarely come in a more picturesque setting. No matter what the season you will find wonderful mountain and valley walks from your door. The famous Coast to Coast walk passes through the farm's land and you can follow this trail over to Patterdale or branch off up to the Helvellyn ridge or to Fairfield. On the other side of the valley you will find the high tops around Easedale, scramble to the top of Helm Crag or take a gentle stroll around Grasmere Lake and Rydal Water.
Within the Farm are four separate self-catering holiday cottages offering a lovely and private ‘home from home’, from which to enjoy your Lake District holiday. The Woolloft sleeps up to 5, The Cottage sleeps up to 4, and The Byre sleeps 2.
The Cottages at Broadrayne Farm are all just full of character having been converted from former 17th - 19thC farm buildings. Unusually for holiday accommodation they all have the benefit of allocated parking, separate entrances and private sitting out areas.
We have tried to think of everything you may need on a “home away from home” self-catering holiday. All beds are made up on arrival and we provide towels for your stay. Your log burner is also made up ready to welcome you, with additional logs/coal available to purchase.
Each cottage has TV, WiFi, Washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hair dryer, iron etc.. the list goes on! If you are concerned that there is something specific you will require, in order to make your holiday complete, then please ask. If we don’t have it we can certainly make sure it is there when you arrive!

All cottages are Non-smoking.

Our driveway is directly off the A591, we are 1.25 miles north of the village of Grasmere, 400m after the Travellers Rest Pub. The farm is signposted on the road side at the foot of the hill.
