About

Originating as a 16th Century farmhouse, Crooklands has grown into a 31 bedroomed, fully accessible hotel offering the latest technology. Family run by brothers Rob & Chris Vincent, they have created a unique atmosphere where locals, business and leisure guests can mix and share stories of the day’s events.

Enjoying views to the Cumbrian countryside and adjacent Lancaster Canal, the 31 bedroomed hotel is fully wheelchair accessible and offers family and dog friendly rooms. Boasting a contemporary evening restaurant, traditional coaching inn restaurant, cosy bar area, vibrant reception foyer as well as three well-equipped function suites. The hotel also benefits from hyper fast broadband and a large guest car park.

Nestled between some of the UK’s most beautiful National Parks and Area’s of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay, with quick access to motorway links. For those interested in checking out popular landmarks while visiting, Crooklands is located a short distance from Lakeland Maze Farm Park (2.3 mi), Levens Hall (2.8 mi), Sizergh Castle (5.1 mi), Kendal Castle (7.2 mi) The Yorkshire 3 peaks walk (15 mi) and Lake Windermere (17 mi).

Proud to be nominated ‘Small Hotel of the Year’ Finalist in the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2023 and ‘Best Casual Dining Experience’ in the Cumbria Life Awards 2023.
