🚗 Driving Directions to Dandelion & Hoglet Cottages (CA5 7AF) • From the M6 motorway, take Junction 42 (Carlisle South). • Follow signs for Dalston / Wigton (B5299). • Continue along the B5299 for around 6 miles, passing through Dalston village. • Keep following signs for Caldbeck. • After approx. 2 miles, you’ll see signs for CA5 7AF — follow the road until you reach the cottages. 🅿️ Parking: There is free, on-site parking directly at the cottages.

🚆 By Train • The nearest mainline station is Carlisle (about 9 miles away). • Carlisle has regular direct services from London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, and Manchester. 🚌 By Bus • From Carlisle city centre, take the Stagecoach bus service 73 or 73A (Carlisle – Wigton). • Get off at Dalston (around 15 minutes from Carlisle). • From Dalston, the cottages are a short taxi ride away. 🚖 By Taxi • Local taxi firms include: • Carlisle Taxis – 01228 522 522 • Dalston Taxis – 01228 710 101 • Journey time from Carlisle station to the cottages is around 20 minutes. ✈️ By Air • The nearest airports are Newcastle (1 hr 20 mins) and Manchester (2 hrs), both with train connections to Carlisle.
