A stone's throw from the site are the beautiful Lakeland villages of Hawkshead, Coniston, Ambleside, and Windermere all offering cosy cafes, traditional Lakeland pubs, restaurants and a range of independent and local shops to explore. In between are an array of hidden gems, secret spots and wild places to explore. 

The site also boasts close proximity to two of the county’s arguably most famous ‘lakes’ (Windermere and Coniston), ideal for spot of wild swimming, beautiful picnic spots, photography or just an opportunity to sit and enjoy being in nature.

Back at the Yurt after a day out sit back, relax and enjoy the crackle of logs and the warmth of the wood burning stove, roast marsh mellows over the open fire and reconnect with the things that are important in your life.

The Lakeside site has five 18ft Yurts comfortably accommodating six persons per Yurt. A beautiful site proving a quiet retreat for families, friends and couples alike. Available from March through to November. Oak & Mayflower Yurts are also dog friendly.
