About

LOW MOOR HEAD CL is a National award winning Caravan & Motorhome Club Certificated Location (CL on the English/Scottish Borders).

This tranquil touring caravan site is the perfect location for visiting many historic attractions, events and venues, both in England and Scotland.

The site is very popular and we recommend early booking to avoid disappointment. The site is situated just outside the hamlet of Easton, with a woodland back drop of Heathery Belt Woods, part of the Nether by Estate, home of the Graham family. The local town of Longtown is situated six miles from Carlisle, which is steeped in Roman history, being the gateway to both The Scottish Borders and England. Some three miles away is the World Famous Blacksmith's shop at Gretna Green, founded in 1754 and renowned for runaway marriages. The site is exclusively for Adults only, offering peace, tranquillity and accessibility to this idyllic countryside.

Heathery Belt wood some 20 meters, here guests can enjoy and explore the excellent woodland walks, birds and wildlife, or simply exercise there dogs.

We have a one acre lawned site being just outside the Hamlet of Easton away from the noise of main roads on a quiet unclassified road. The CL is only 5 van but each pitch is a super pitch with fresh drinking water, grey water disposal and individual electric hook ups. We provide hard standing, well spaced pitches along with an easy accessible road with some discreet dusk to dawn lighting. We now also have shower, WC facilities and chemical disposal point.
Agents for calor gas and also accessories for our camp site, you can wake up look out of the window and hear the birds tweeting in the hedge rows, see the beautiful country side.

We are not a working farm but do have a number of animals, donkeys, Shetland ponies, pygmy goat, ducks, hens, geese and sheep, which we share with our guests, which are all little characters in their own right. Visitors can watch the lambs playing in February /March each year. We are situated 1½ miles or a ten minute walk from the busy town of Longtown with has all the usual amenities you would expect:- lots of different Shops – an Award Winning Chip Shop – Four Pubs – Restaurants - Chinese takeaway - Pizza takeaway - Hotel - Indian take away - excellent Spar supermarket and much more.
