About

Swallows Return and Owls Retreat are two 4-star graded cottages on the site of Moresby Hall Farm, near Whitehaven.

Personally maintained by the Cumbrian owners living in the same hamlet, these 19thC farm buildings have been converted into high standard character cottages, beautifully appointed with full gas central heating with thermostatically controlled radiators. There are also living gas flame fires in the lounges, in all making them very cosy for all the year round.

Enjoy the ambience of these very comfortable cottages where there are books of local and other interests to read.
