Travelling North on the M6 From M6 junction 40 take the third exit for Penrith town centre. Go straight across the mini roundabout with Cranston on the left. Continue straight on and pass the railway station on the left. At the next mini-roundabout, take the first exit and carry on uphill for 100 meters. At the roundabout, go straight across and pass the WCF shop on the left and Morrisons on the right. Carry on downhill and turn left on Duke Street (A6). You are now in a one-way system. Stay on the right lane and take the right turn as if you were doubling back towards the town centre. Take the first left into Portland Place. At mini roundabout go straight over. You are now on Wordsworth Street. North View B&B is at the top of the street on the right-hand side. At the next roundabout, take the 5th exit (A6) towards Penrith. As you approach Penrith you will see the '30' mile sign. Take the first road on the left (Salkeld Road). Drive uphill to the roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Beacon Edge. Wordsworth Street is the 2nd street on the right. North View B&B is only a few meters on the left-hand side. You will pass a Tim Hortons shop on your left and the Penrith Hospital on your right. Drive into Penrith crossing 2 sets of traffic lights. Turn right just past John Norris's fishing shop. Stay on this road (Old London Road which becomes Friar Gate and then Benson Row). When you reach a double mini roundabout, go straight onto Meeting House Lane.
