About

North View B&B is the kind of place where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.

Thoughtful touches, home-made healthy breakfast, encounters with like-minded people and a focus on sustainability make it more than just a B&B – it’s a cosy home to pause and enjoy.

Whether you’re here to reconnect with loved ones, wander Cumbria’s cultural gems, cycle or walk the fells and the glaciated valleys, North View B&B is the perfect choice.

Our B&B is open from February to mid-December. It is a delightful period property located in the desirable conservation area (New Streets), with stunning views over Penrith and the Cumbrian fells. Single travellers welcome (no single supplement, they get a single occupancy discount!) for business trips or leisure. Couple and families welcome too! We’re perfectly positioned for exploring the Lake District National Park, the Pennines, the Eden Valley, and Hadrian’s Wall, it’s also an ideal stop for cyclists on the Coast to Coast (C2C) route, offering secure bike storage.

Guided walks and Nordic Walking Session available:

The host is a Mountain Leader and a Nordic Walking instructor. She offers guided walks and Nordic walking sessions for the B&B guests as well as local people and tourists.
