We offer 7 different glamping options at Park Cliffe so you’ll find one that perfectly suits your needs.  Each will give you a great experience and a bit more comfort than a traditional camping holiday – it’s a brilliant way to enjoy the great Lake District outdoors.

Camping pods

There’s no need for a tent when you can snuggle down in one of our cosy heated and sheep-wool insulated camping pods.  Each of our pods has plenty of headroom, carpeted or vinyl flooring and a double socket with a light and small heater, and some offer higher levels of luxury and comfort.  There’s small deck seating area at the front, perfect for a spot of star gazing or watching our park life.

We have 6 types of pod at Park Cliffe:

Couple’s pods

• Accommodate 2 adults and 1 dog.
• Stunning fell views.
• Bring your own camp beds or airbeds, and bedding.

Standard pods

• Ample space for 2 adults and 1 child.
• Bring your own camp beds or airbeds, and bedding.
• Dog friendly.

Family pods

• Ideal for 2 adults and up to 3 small children or 4 adults
• Bring your own camp beds or airbeds, and bedding.
• External lighting.

Family Plus Pods

• Accommodate a family of 4.
• 2 single beds and 2 roll out foam mattresses provided.
• Bring your own bedding.
• External lighting.

Premier Pods

• Larger, T-shaped pod to accommodate a family of 5.
• A double bed, 2 single bunk beds and a trundle bed provided.
• Hanging rail for clothes and coat hooks.
• Lovely views of Lake Windermere.

Deluxe Camping Pod

• Luxury glamping accommodation for 2 adults and 2 children.
• Double bed, with reading lights, and bedding provided
• Sofa bed for the children, please bring additional bedding
• Light and airy, spacious seating area, dining table and chairs
• Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery and crockery.
• Bathroom with WC, large shower, basin, vanity unit and heated towel rail
• Plenty of storage
• Stargazing windows
• Decking and private picnic area.

 

The Shepherd’s Hut

Our beautiful, locally made Shepherd’s Hut is a cosy holiday hideaway for 2, nestled in a quiet and secluded place on the park.  Packed with home comforts, this is a great choice if you’re new to glamping.

Accommodates 2 people in a double bed with bedding provided.

Park Cliffe is an award-winning holiday park set in 25 acres of beautiful, unspoilt countryside, right in the heart of the Lake District, only 3 miles from Bowness-on-Windermere. You’ll receive a warm welcome from our friendly team, and our accommodation is complemented with a range of modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

*NB: Our opening days and times vary throughout the year so contact us for full details.  As a general guide, the Fellside Bar and Breakfasts is open at weekends and in peak holiday periods for drinks and breakfast although a midweek day or two remain closed.  The River Box Kitchen serves food Friday and Saturday evenings all season and 6 nights a week during holiday periods.
