About

Tweedies Bar & Lodge set in the centre of Grasmere amongst 3 acres of beautiful gardens. Beer garden, attached to Tweedies bar which serves gastro pub food from 12.00 onwards. The hotel has excellent restaurant serving a la carte dining 7 nights a week. Excellent for private parties, weddings and open for non-residents. Open all year. Last check-in time 22.00, if later by prior arrangement. Bar has a late licence. Pets and children welcome. Newly refurbished throughout, modern yet retaining its original character.

Leisure clubs available approximately 2.5 miles from the hotel. Disabled bedroom on ground floor available.

Road Directions

From M6 jct 36 take A591 towards Windermere, then Grasmere. After passing the 30mph speed limit sign entering Grasmere, take the first exit off the roundabout. Follow the road for 400yds, the entrance to Dale Lodge is on the left.
By rail the west coast mainline station is Oxenholme, shuttle train to Windermere, 555 or 599 bus to Grasmere, or taxi.
