*The Lodge is let on an exclusive basis for weddings (this doesn’t include Tweedies Bar & Restaurant).

In the picturesque village of Grasmere nestles Tweedies Bar & Lodge, a charming Georgian period property offering the perfect romantic setting for your wedding with stunning views and contemporary interiors.

In three acres of its own gardens it is possible for a marquee to be erected for your reception, and in fine weather drinks on the lawn is a great way to start your celebrations.

Our team aims to help you tailor your wedding plans exactly to your needs. We try not to have any set wedding packages, as we believe that your wedding is an original and unique event.

Our specialist wedding planner will help you every step of the way. From helping to design your menu with our renowned Head Chef James Goodall to organising cars for you and your guests and planning firework displays.

We want your day to be the most wonderful celebration. Just relax and enjoy it and let us do the hard work because it's what we are good at and we thrive on making our guests happy.
