With delicious homemade food in a beautiful setting, it’s the perfect place for a leisurely visit.
Soak up the feeling of days gone by sitting in the beautiful barn which houses the Dalemain Tearoom. Try a delicious selection of hot and cold homemade food, specialty coffees using Farrer’s coffees from Kendal, our freshly-baked scones, as well as the famous Dalemain marmalade ginger cake!
Look out for the selection of delicious Dalemain Marmalades, along with our Marmalade Award winners, exclusively available for you to buy at Dalemain and Fortnum & Mason, London.
We also have a delicious Afternoon Tea available at Dalemain for groups of all sizes to enjoy. All Afternoon Tea bookings receive complimentary garden tickets. Please note: Afternoon tea is bookable 7 days in advance by telephoning 01768486450 option 1. We are unable to cater for afternoon teas on the day.
With FREE parking and FREE access to the Tearoom in the historic courtyard, there are numerous reasons to visit Dalemain. Why not just pop in?
The Dalemain Loop begins from Dalemain Courtyard and takes in the beautiful 12th Century, Grade I listed church at Dacre, which is guarded by bears at the four corners and contains a cross-legged crusader. It is the ideal way to spend a sunny afternoon, or perhaps to end a rainy one with a steaming cup of tea and a well-earned piece of cake in the Dalemain Tearoom.
We can also provide catering for special events such as birthday parties, small conferences, or group lunches. Please enquire for further details if you are planning an event.
