Heather Glen Country House Hotel is an exclusive use wedding venue located between Penrith and Carlisle in two and a half acres of country gardens in Ainstable.

We’re so proud to include nine of our luxury ensuite bedrooms with our three main wedding packages, with an additional option to book our two bedroom apartment. We have both accessible as well as dog friendly bedrooms, so everyone can celebrate together.

Our West View room is licensed for private and civil ceremonies and accommodates up to 110 guests. Our Eden View room, with views across the garden and the stunning Eden Valley fells, is where you’ll have your wedding breakfast. 

From cosy lounge areas to the evening dance floor, we relish in having somewhere for all your wedding guests to enjoy. As a family run wedding venue, it’s important to us that we give couples everything we would look for ourselves.

Here at Heather Glen we know that no two weddings are ever the same, so we can work alongside you to tailor a bespoke wedding package that suits you and all your dreams. Whether you’re looking for an intimate elopement, or inviting everyone you know, you can count on our team to create the most magical day, where nothing is ever too much trouble.

We are delighted to offer the choice of dishes from our bespoke menu at no additional charge. Each dish is prepared in house by our Head Chef and his dedicated team, using only the finest locally sourced ingredients.

We believe in stress-free wedding planning with transparent pricing. Our charges cover all set up costs, crockery, cutlery, glasses, white table linen and napkins, seating plan easel, cake knife and silver cake stand, highchairs and booster seats.
