The Bluebird Car & Coach Park is under development, opening date TBC

We are next door to both Herdwick’s Café and The Ruskin Museum, with a brand new footpath from the car park to the museum entrance.

An foot & bike exit on Coppermines Lane give access to hikes and cycleways. Coppermines Lane leads into Coppermines Valley, Coppermines Waterfalls and stunning walks including Coniston Old Man.

The new car park has the following:

• All day parking for 70 cars
• Parking for 6 coaches (must be booked in advance)
• 6 EV charging points
• Free public loos
• Information centre with free walking and cycling trail maps
• e-Bike hire centre
• Bus stop for bus service to Hawkshead and Ambleside

The Bluebird Car and Coach Park is located adjacent to the Ruskin Museum in Coniston village. Entrance on Yewdale Road, next to Herdwicks Café
