Stunning waterfall falling approx 55 feet. Situated on the River Brathay. Great views from the falls. Take the A593 for Coniston; after Skelwith Bridge, turn right for Elterwater and Wrynose. Limited parking by stream at bottom of hill and less than 0.5 mile through oak woodland. Or include it in a circular walk from Elterwater via Slater's Bridge to the falls and then on to Loughrigg Tarn or try the shorter route that includes Skelwith Force.
