Stock Ghyll Force is a 70-foot waterfall nestled in woodlands right in the heart of Ambleside. It's an easy walk up, and the pretty falls are hidden into the hillside. A lovely short loop from the centre of town, this walk can be slippery and uneven in parts so consideration and care should be taken and appropriate footwear worn.
Don't miss crossing the top bridge which affords an amazing spectacle of the falls below!
