8 generations on, the Woodall family continue to produce a fine range of bacon, hams and sausages. Their original centuries old recipe for the Traditional Cumberland Sausage is still in use – stipulating a 95% meat product made from only the best quality shoulder pork in Cumbria and spices that once arrived via the port in Whitehaven.

This rich history would eventually earn them the PGI status for Traditional Cumberland Sausage – a status awarded by the EU for a product with characteristics attributed to their geographical origin. Join their many loyal customers in savouring this fine taste of Cumberland!
