The 175 varieties of apple growing under the care of Acorn Bank's garden team start to ripen at the end of August, with the latest being picked around the middle of October.
Every weekend throughout September and October the most recently picked fruit will be available for visitors to taste. Try a Keswick Codlin, a Howgate Wonder or even a Pitmaston Pineapple – which is actually an apple!
