To coincide with Bluebird K7 – The Festival between 11-15 May, Ullswater 'Steamers' will be welcoming Jan Nicholson, Blue Badge Guide Cumbria, who will provide live onboard commentary on the 3.20pm round the lake sailings from Glenridding, to celebrate the incredible story of Bluebird K7.
Two Lakes. One Legend.
Cruise on selected heritage sailings from Glenridding and discover Ullswater's foundational role in the Bluebird K7 story, with added commentary. Before the legend continued at Coniston Water, Donald Campbell made history right here on Ullswater. On the 23rd of July 1955, he achieved his first World Water Speed Record with Bluebird K7 on Ullswater, where he reached 202.32 mph.
