Experience a night-time adventure with the whole family on Coniston Water in rafted canoes. Enjoy the beauty and vastness of the night sky in the heart of the Lake District.
You will start the guided canoe tour in the daylight, giving you time to get to grips with paddling the canoe. We will embark on a journey to explore the island, inspired by Swallows and Amazons. Then, we will find a secluded bay where we can light a small fire to boil water for hot chocolate, tea, or coffee, and watch as the sun sets over the magnificent mountain scenery.
Enjoy your hot drink whilst we take you on a guided star-gazing session. We'll show you how to identify some constellations and share our knowledge of the myths and legends that surround the stars. If the skies are cloudy, no sweat, we will stargaze using apps.
Canoes are rafted together to ensure they are extremely safe and stable, making it easy and fun for everyone to paddle. No experience is necessary.
