Create unique fruit and flower-inspired mini lino prints in an afternoon.
What will the class cover and how will it be taught?
In this workshop, you will explore the lino printing process, including creating and transferring your design, cutting, layering colours, registering, and printing from a lino block by hand before learning how to use the printing press. With both one-to-one guidance and group tuition, you'll develop your design and produce a set of beautiful, handcrafted cards.
Who is it suitable for?
All abilities are welcome.
Important Information
This workshop will happen in the Print Room.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring an apron and/or wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Bring your glasses, if you need them. You may wish to bring your own images to work from – black and white or colour printouts are ideal. There will be a range of reference materials available to use, supplied by the tutor.
Are there any additional costs?
All materials and equipment are included in the price.
