Walk with our ranger with your little ones and help to fill the squirrel feeders in the forest!
Whinlatter is a red squirrel reserve and we like to make sure our fantastic reds have lots of food to munch on to keep them strong and healthy. This Wild Wednesday you and your family can join our Forest Ranger on their rounds to fill the feeders and learn all about our special squirrels. With a bit of luck and patience you might even spot one whilst out in the forest.
This walk starts at 11am and suitable for ages 5+, children do need to be accompanied by an adult (all people booked require a ticket).
The squirrel feed contains nuts, to make those aware with allergies.
Wear clothes suitable for walking and the weather.
Sorry no dogs.
