Treasure Island By Robert Louis Stevenson
This family friendly version was adapted for stage by Toby Hulse
Like Jim Hawkins, the boy hero in Treasure Island, Emily, a bored school kid, dreams of being a pirate even though many other careers would be more suitable and definitely safer!
And like all girl pirates Emily can be fierce and determined! We join her as she takes on Jim's role and makes it her own.
We travel to an inn full of pirates where we meet an old sea captain, a blind beggar, get into a fight, and discover a treasure map where X marks the spot.
And take a dangerous voyage on a groaning wooden ship with her rag tag crew to the other side of the world, to a waiting uninhabited island full of treasure.
There will be lots of adventures, twists and turns, betrayals and surprises with barrel loads of laughs and music. And watch out for the parrot!
Age guidance 8 years to 80 plus.
